KCB coach welcomes Agwanda boost

KCB assistant coach Godfrey ‘Solo’ Oduor is happy to have striker Enock Agwanda back in the fold and has urged him to find the back of the net more often.Agwanda made a return to the team last weekend against AFC Leopards after being on the sidelines for over 16 months recuperating from knee surgery. Although he took longer than anticipated to heal, the Bankers welcome his return as it comes at a time when they are struggling to score goals. On Sunday he came off the bench against FC Talanta and instigated their comeback from two goals down to earn a point against the FKF Premier League newcomers. He scored the opener before John Mwangi sealed the comeback with his first for the club to ensure that the Bankers ended their three-match losing streak.Oduor is happy to happy the striker back and has urged him to score more in the remaining five matches of the campaign.Enock Agwanda returns for KCB after 18 months on the medics table.#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/a1j0YU78vE— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) May 1, 2022 “He has done his job, he did what he knows best, he is a goal scorer and we are happy that he got one against Talanta. The fighting spirit was good and coming from two goals down to get a point shows a lot of positives, we will keep working hard in order to end the season strongly,” he added.Next for the Bankers is a trip to Kakamega to face Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday 15 May.
