Nobody was better than Thomas Hutchison at the Big West Championship.
The UC Davis senior claimed player of the week honors for his performance at the recent conference championship, where he earned medalist honors by four shots at 13 under and helped lead the Aggies to the team title, as well. Hutchison shot rounds of 67-68-68 to finish as the lone player to shoot all three rounds in the 60s at La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, California.
“What he brings to our team is that he loves Davis, he loves our guys, he really cares about our guys,” said head coach Cy Williams. “It’s not all about Tom with Tom, it’s about the team and it’s about his friends, he’s very excited that the team’s coming along with him to regionals, for sure.”
