Having missed a plethora of chances in the 1-0 loss against Ulinzi Stars last weekend, Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia is looking to fine-tune his attack ahead of Sofapaka’s clash on Saturday.Bidco put Ulinzi Stars on the back foot in the final 10 minutes of the game after the Soldiers had Harun Mwale sent off but could not take their chances and ended up leaving the game with nothing.Masita makes the difference as Ulinzi Stars whip Bidco UnitedAkhulia admitted that his side has spurned a number of chances and will look to change that in the remaining games of the season as he has been impressed with their defending.“We really need to start scoring as early as possible because chasing games is always difficult. In the last match against Ulinzi, I think we were the better side defensively because we defended so well. One mistake that we made was punished but it is upon us to go back to the drawing board and try to do our best so that we win the next match,” said Akhulia. The loss still leaves Bidco mathematically in danger of being relegated but their seven points buffer over Vihiga Bullets coupled with five games to play till the end of the season gives them a massive advantage.Bidco missed the services of veteran midfielder Peter Nzuki in the loss to Ulinzi with Akhulia opening up on his influence on games but will be available for the next clash against Sofapaka.Bidco to protest Bandari’s loss over poor officiating claims“Nzuki knows how to influence play, missing him in the field disorients the team but (Zachary) Gathu came in and did his best, Obukui also came in the final 15 minutes and did well.Missing him has been a big blow but we have many players so it is upon them to come in and do the right thing which they have done,” added Akhulia.
