Pamzo moans Police impotence in front of goal

Kenya Police FC head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo has admitted to scoring issues for his team after they registered yet another draw on Sunday against Nzoia Sugar FC at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County.Sunday’s barren draw extended Police’s winless run to seven games. It was also a second consecutive barren draw registered by the law enforcers after a similar result against City Stars a week earlier.Earlier if goal-shyness is an issue for his side, the former Kenyan international admitted that his options in attack are limited at the moment. He however challenged his players to shoulder the scoring burden. Clinton Kinanga and misfiring Elvis Rupia are the only attackers at Pamzo’s disposal at the moment.Kenya Police FC midfielder Duncan Otieno scored some worldie against FC Talanta. He has been hitting them hard since 2013.#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/EuC8EYWY3b— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) April 10, 2022 “Of course, I can say it is a concern because we are short of attackers, as you know some of our players left for police training, and right now my options are limited. That said, we just have to find how to work with the available attackers and try to solve that scoring problem, I am positive that all the players can shoulder the scoring burden,” he stated. The tactician is keen on seeing out the remainder of the season and plan for the 2022/23 campaign where they will have a bigger squad at their disposal.“Focus right now is to see the season out so that next season we plan better. We will have more players at our disposal and I am confident that we will perform better,” he added.Next for Kenya Police is a home match against the already relegated Mathare United on Sunday 15th May. The Slum Boys are however expected to miss the duel.
