Joash has been instrumental this season for Simba, especially in the CAF Confederation Cup and is reported to be in line to sign a new contract with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.Baraza however commended his boys for the impressive showing, especially in the second half where they dominated proceedings and put Simba on the back foot for large spells.Rugged Kenyan international defender agrees to new deal in Tanzania“I would like to commend the boys because it was a tough match, we lost but the boys gave a lot of positives. We gifted them the goals because my boys relaxed a bit but that is football. Our plan was to ensure that they don’t get a goal in the first half but they managed to do that, our goals came from our own errors when we were in possession of the ball,” added Baraza.
