Tanzanian international Ibrahim Joshua and his Ugandan counterpart Deogratious Ojok say they target double digit goals for Tusker this season after both got into the scoresheet in last weekend’s 2-0 victory against Kakamega Homeboyz.Joshua broke his goal drought opening the scoring in the first half and he says he was delighted to finally get on the scoresheet.“I am really thankful for the goal because I had gone for almost five games without scoring. It was important to get the goal not just for myself but for the team as well. That match was like a final and we are thankful we managed to win,” he is quoted as saying in the club portal. Ojok scored the second goal, taking his season tally to eight and his seventh coming off the bench.“It was a very tough game and when I came in, we were under so much pressure. We needed to score a second goal to reduce the pressure and I am glad I scored. Scoring gives me confidence for the next game. We have like four games remaining and I want to continue helping the team.I am happy for Ibra because finally he ended his goal drought,” he said. Why Kariobangi Sharks will dish their first ever walkover in the FKFPLWith the remaining games, the two are neck to neck in the race for the team’s top scorer, but Joshua says that is not important at all.“Whoever finishes as top scorer is okay. For us, the target is to help the team to win matches and win the title. As long as we do that, we are happy as players,” said the left footed attacker.
