Bayern raging at traitor Sule after the defender refused to travel with the team

Nicklas Sule has won many trophies in the Bayern Munich shirt, but the 26-year-old defender is now one of the least popular people among the Bavarian fanbase. The soon-to-be Borussia Dortmund player had already raised quite a few eyebrows when he declared that he wouldn’t sign a new contract at the Allianz Arena and that he’s decided to move to BVB as a free agent. But what he’s done on Saturday was enough to aggravate the fans who were chanting his name in adoration not so long ago.Niklas Süle trained normally with the team on Friday and was with the ‘B team’. The defender wasn’t originally supposed to be with the first team against Wolfsburg – but after Marcel Sabitzer suffered an injury, Nagelsmann asked Sule if he wanted to travel to Wolfsburg. The response was negative, much to the coach’s surprise. “We asked Niki if he still wanted to come with us. He said: No, rather not, because he hadn’t prepared for it. That’s why we left him at home.”#FCBVfB 🔴⚪️ Niklas #Süle klettert auf den Zaun der #Südkurve und das Stadion singt „BVB H***söhne“ 🫣 #FCB #BVB #FCBayern pic.twitter.com/dcDYSWhw72— KURVENHELDEN (@kurvenhelden) May 8, 2022 The refusal to join the team was deemed the ultimate display of disrespect. But it didn’t end there. After the Wolfsburg game, the entire Bayern squad greeted the fans on Saturday night, which is a tradition for Germany’s most successful club. Almost 1,000 supporters arrived there to spend time with the players. Even those who didn’t feature in Wolfsburg made an effort and joined their teammates for the meetup. Everyone except Sule that is.The team celebrated the title with around 1000 fans in Nockherberg this evening. The players were celebrated while Hasan Salihamidžić was booed on stage by around a quarter the fans. Niklas Sule certainly didn’t show respect to the club. His actions were catastrophic. And please don’t spout the myth that he went to Dortmund for lower wages!”
