There were over 200,000 enquires for the 80,000-capacity stadium. Due to security reasons, only 75,000 tickets have been put on sale, and around 10.000 people from abroad came to support their team in their quest for the first Serie A title since 2011. Milan showed their domination over Atalanta, who had a dissapointing season and is up for a fight for their place in the Conference League.The home team set up the tempo since the first minute, but Atalanta was not beaten easily, as the visitors didn’t give much opportunity to Milan in the first half. But in the second half, Rossoneri continued to press even more and it finally paid dividends in the 57th minute, when Leao drilled it low under Musso, with a defender breathing down his neck: 1-0 Milan.But the goal of the game came in the 75th minute. San Siro erupted out of joy and relief when Theo Hernandez took the ball inside his own half and ran all the way into the Atalanta box, where he still had the energy and composure to struck the ball into the net for 2-0 and one step closer to the title.
