This means the world will find out another big football news in less than 13 days. “It won’t be long, I will announce my future soon.” Kylian #Mbappe leaves the doors open again, with a possible move to Real Madrid with a contract provider of around 100 million euros and a salary of 50 million euros annually. pic.twitter.com/gTdLRbpiIK— MEGA Sport (@MEGASport_EA) May 16, 2022 Mbappe got the best player award for the third time in a row, and speaking at the ceremony, he just couldn’t avoid the Real/PSG question. “It’s always a great pleasure to be here. Always an honour, that’s why I insisted on coming. Winning for the third time in a row is incredible. Thanks to PSG, my teammates, the coach, all the people who work in the shadows. We are proud of our tenth title. This year, more than ever, I felt this recognition and this admiration, thanks to everyone. I want to participate in the ceremony, not seek the glory. We will know very quickly; it is almost done. My choice is made, yes, almost. You have to respect all parties. I’m also in a hurry, but it’s not just me. It’s over, some details are missing, but it’s over. My decision will be soon” said Mbappe, but later clarified that he plans to do it before May 28th. The PSG striker has been faced with an enormous pressure to stay with the Parisians for another two years, as Qatar owners are eager to have him in the squad in time when France plays in the World Cup in their country. Even former and current French presidents were hired to persuade him even more, even thou all he wanted was to live his boyhood dream and play for Madrid. Soon we will find out if money talks or if Mbappe will fulfil his dream. Haaland and Adeyemi opened the ‘hunting’ season for goal scorers: Mbappe, Lewa, Mane, Darwin Nunez, Nkunku…Apart from Mbappe, Bruno Génésio (Rennes) was voted the best coach in Ligue 1, Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG) the best goalkeeper and William Saliba (OM) the best young player.
