Ouma heaps praise on red hot Sofapaka forward

Sofapaka head coach David Ouma has lauded his on form forward Rody Manga following his brace that single handedly won the game against Bidco United over the weekend. The Congolese forward joined Batoto ba Mungu at the start of the season from Renaissance Du Congo but struggled to adapt to the league up until recently.Muyoti maintains hopes of lifting FKFPL titleOuma noted that the forward has been putting an extra shift in training as he added that Manga took time to settle to life in the country.“Rody has been working hard and diligently in training. He is a foreigner and I bet this to an extent took a toll on him in settling, but I am happy for him because he finally got his footing right. He is a typical finisher, and this has been evident in the past two games, scoring three and assisting one. He was literally the difference on Saturday, and his goals were superb. I hope he can carry on in the remaining matches,” said Ouma.Manga has three goals in the last two games and seems to have finally got his footing in the league as he looks to add onto his tally in the remaining five games of the season. His goals assured Sofapaka of a 2-1 win over Bidco with Ouma revealing that the win puts them on course to achieve their top five target.Simba fined Ksh1.1M for bizarre rituals before match“It is a good feeling to be on a winning streak. It gives us more confidence in future games and makes our targets more realistic. We had set a target to have a solid finish, and a top five finish has been the priority. I am glad we are on the right track and I hope we can carry on with the positive results to finish the season strongly,” added Ouma.
