TULSA, Okla. — “You will see a very significant spike, as well, in our purse,” PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh said earlier this week when asked about prize money ahead of the 2022 PGA Championship.
His response pertained to a question about whether the PGA money will go up as significantly as it did at the Masters, where the total purse jumped to $15 million this year.
Well, the PGA Championship has matched it, as the 2022 event’s total purse will be also be $15 million.
