Former Gor Mahia head coach Roberto ‘Robertinho’ Oliveira has led Ugandan side, Vipers SC to the Ugandan Premier League (UPL) title. Robertinho joined the club at the start of the season and wrapped up the title weeks ago. The Venoms lifted the league title on Saturday after amassing 74 points, 18 more than second-placed KCCA FC who lost their last two league matches.The title is Vipers’ fifth in their history. In the 30 games played this season, the Venoms have lost two and registered five draws with the other 23 games ending in wins in what was a spectacular season for the club. They ended the season with a storm on Saturday, pumping five goals past a sorry Police side and ruining what was Tonny Mawejje’s farewell game.
