Police raid at Lille’s headquarters – Osimhen’s transfer could be the reason for it

Respected French newspaper L’Equipe reports that a police raid has taken place today at LOSC Lille’s headquarters on Wednesday afternoon.The judiciary police arrived at the club’s head offices, and investigators went on to question several people, notably administrative and legal administrator Julien Mordacq.🚨🚨 Napoli reportedly paid €80m for Osimhen.However, €20.3m of that fee were made up of 4 Napoli players who were significantly inflated with actual value of €0.4m.Lille only made €36m profit from the sale.[@Lequipe via @sportmediaset]— Link Up Arsenal (@LinkUpArsenal) May 24, 2022 The raid and questioning are potentially linked to proceedings around past transfers the club was involved in.The police’s involvement could be based on the transfer of striker Victor Osimhen to Napoli in the summer of 2020 for €71.3m.
