With both teams enjoying an impressive recent run of form, Bandari FC head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani is prepping his charges for a bruising battle against Ulinzi Stars.The Dockers have had a late upturn in results which has thrust them to third on the log and now trail joint log leaders Kakamega Homeboyz and Tusker by only four points with three games remaining.Kimani cautions Bandari against getting carried awayKimani waxed lyrical on Ulinzi Stars and highlighted the physical nature of the side as he noted that he will try to utilise his side’s might to register a positive result against them.“Ulinzi are a very good side, they are a resilient team as we are all aware it is a military side and it is a team that never gives up and we know we are going to face a very bruising battle.They have a very experienced coach in Benjamin Nyangweso and we expect a formidable side but we are going to use our strengths and try to get a good result against Ulinzi,” said Kimani.Ulinzi have proved tricky customers for Bandari as the Soldiers have won 10 of their last 22 league encounters with the Dockers only winning on four occasions as eight draws have been registered.Dejected Abdalla Hassan shares thoughts on Kenya’s AFCON expulsionKimani remained coy on Bandari’s title chances despite being just four points off the joint log leaders as he maintained that he is fully focused on the clash against Ulinzi.“We will try and plan as well as we can (for the match against Ulinzi), we will try and get maximum points in that match and we will see where we will be at the end of the day,” added Kimani.
