Three weeks after meeting at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani Stadium, AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia will once again faceoff at the Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday 1st June as part of the Madaraka Day celebrations.The two teams met on 5th May at Kasarani in a league match and on Wednesday they will have another friendly meeting this time at Nyayo, a game that the head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta among other dignitaries are expected to grace.The derby three weeks ago came with freebies for both teams as each team got Ksh. 12 million from the head of state. 2 million was awarded to the playing unit while 10 million is meant to help the club run its daily affairs.Ingwe striker John Makwata is looking forward to the game and hopes to steer his team to a win in order to make the Ingwe faithful happy. It is a match with a lot at stake as Homeboyz are fighting for the title while Ingwe will be keen to derail their title quest.Gor Mahia, who are all but out of the title race will take on City Stars at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on the same day. With three games left, Gor have no realistic chance of lifting their 20th title.
