AFC Leopards assistant coach Tom ‘Gaza’ Juma has warned that Ingwe will not be out to do Kakamega Homeboyz any favour when the two teams meet at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Sunday afternoon.Homeboyz are firmly in the title race and a win over Ingwe on Sunday will give them a three-point advantage over Tusker heading into the final two matches of the season with the Bernard Mwalala-led outfit keen on bagging its first-ever league title in what has been an impressive outing from them this season. In Leopards, they face a Western region rival. Ingwe enjoys massive support in Kakamega and the duel between the two sides has been dubbed the ‘Ingo’ derby with bragging rights and points at stake for either side.Kakamega trip. Up. He added that they have a top-five finish target which they are solely focused on and wants his side to get maximum points on Sunday at Homeboyz’s backyard.“The two clubs have a huge fan base in Western Kenya and they are our younger brothers but in football, there is no brotherhood. Can we travel all the way from Nairobi to Kakamega to dish out a game? The title race is their issue but to us, a win is all we are targeting since we are aiming for a top-five finish,” he told the Nation.Homeboyz have three games left while their closest challengers, Tusker have two. Both teams are tied at 57 points. Mwalala’s side will play AFC Leopards, FC Talanta, and Kariobangi Sharks in their final three games while Tusker have Bidco United and Posta Rangers on their roster.
