Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia was elated with his team’s performance in the 2-0 win over Wazito FC at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.Second-half goals from David Orem and Alex Juma helped the Thika-based club end their five-match winless run with a triumph over Wazito who are fighting to beat the drop from the FKF Premier League with two matches left before the season comes to a close. It was a great all-around performance from the visitors and at the end of 90 minutes, they traveled back to Thika with all the three points and in the process ended all their relegation fears.Akhulia picked more positives from the game. He is happy that his charges managed to a clean sheet in the game. He added that his team has been letting in easy goals in matches and fighting back to salvage something from the game has proven to be a huge task.FTWazito FC 0-2 Bidco United#Wazito4life pic.twitter.com/7TBbRH7MyP— Wazito Football Club (@wazitofc) May 29, 2022 “We managed to score two goals without conceding and that is a positive because our main problem has been with letting in easy goals, and also we have been conceding first in almost all games making it hard to fight back and get wins,” he stated. He further believes that the win will boost his team’s confidence heading into their final two games of the season as they seek to bow strongly from what has been a difficult season for the side.“We had gone for five matches without a win and the win against Wazito is an important one for the team, it will boost our confidence as well. Congratulations to the players for the good fighting spirit and the win also means our relegation fears are being eased,” he added.Bidco will play Tusker and KCB in their final two games.
