Tusker FC assistant coach George Maina has rallied the team to put their best foot forward in their last two games of the 2021/2022 Football Kenya Federation Premier League that may end up defining their whole season. The Brewers, who are the defending champions, have destiny in their own hands after overcoming a very poor start to the season that saw them trail the then log leaders by 15 points at some point after the opening rounds of the season.##NAJAVA_MECA_6436489##But after kicking into gear, the Robert Matano-coached side recovered and are currently top of the table courtesy of a superior goal difference to Kakamega Homeboyz who are jointly tied with them on 57 points. With only games against Bidco United and Posta Rangers left before the season draws to a close, Maina called on every member of the team to give their all in the team’s quest to defend their title.“We are on the final path towards the title and this is the point where everyone has to work together. We need to fight for everything in these remaining matches. We have to fight for the brand, for the team and fight for our dreams,” said the coach on the club’s June edition of their monthly magazine.⚽️| Loading towards Sunday. We keep working!#KenyaMilele #Brewers4Life pic.twitter.com/REVvH0q8Ij— 🏆Tusker FC (@tusker_fc) June 3, 2022 “The mental strength of the team has been strengthened over the past few weeks and the focus is sharp.
