There is some light at the end of the tunnel with regards to the current football turmoil in the country after a Special General Meeting (SGM) hosted at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday okayed a 13-member committee to take over from the reigns from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Transition Committee.The newly formed Committee is expected to take over football governance in the country once the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Transition Committee’s term expires on Thursday 16 June pending an approval from the Sports Cabinet Secretary (CS) Amina Mohamed.Saruni vows to reclaim ‘Golden Glove’ next season.The FKF Nairobi East Branch chair Amos Otieno who was part of the SGM disclosed some of the resolutions agreed upon in the meeting as he revealed that they have the full backing of the government to host the meeting.”We have agreed to form a Management Committee from the General Assembly then we will present the names to CS Amina, after which the office we be handed over on Thursday hopefully.
