Joseph Mwangi grabbed a brace as Nzoia Sugar defeated AFC Leopards 3-1 in an FKF Premier League match staged at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County.Just was like the case a week ago against Nairobi City Stars, AFC Leopards did not raise a full squad for the tie and had 15 players available for the game majorly consisting of youngsters.Nzoia drew the first blood in the 21st minute through James Kibande who fired home from the penalty spot. They started knocking the ball around after doubling their advantage and being short of man power, Ingwe did not cause Nzoia much problems. In the end the Millers walked home with maximum points.Nzoia leapfrog Bidco United to 15th in the log with 34 points while Ingwe end the season sixth with 46 points.Elsewhere at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, Wazito FC were awarded a walkover after Vihiga Bullets who are already relegated failed to show up for the game.Coach Fred Ambani was left disappointed.”We wanted to compete on the pitch and get the points. It’s unfortunate that we’ve ended our season with a walkover but there’s nothing much we can do. We prepared well for this game and were ready to play but our opponents decided not to show up.
