Have $100? Here’s how you should bet it at the U.S. Open

BROOKLINE, MA. — The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, is playing host to the 122nd U.S. Open just outside of Boston this week, and as the tournament approaches, bettors across the country will be narrowing in on their picks to win the third men’s major of the season.

Last week’s winner Rory McIlroy is the betting favorite at +1000, followed closely by his good buddy Justin Thomas at +1200. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who’s bounced back nicely since his missed cut at the PGA Championship, is next in line with Jon Rahm at +1300.

If you’re looking to make some bets this week, here’s how I’d bet $100.
