He really is Marvelous! Aston Villa star is building a sports complex in his native Zimbabwe

He’s done alright for himself, but he’s doing alright for many more! Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba will use a portion of his wealth to create a fantastic sports complex for the people in Bulawayo.The 28-year-old Aston Villa midfielder is proving to be more than just a football player, but also a man of the people.His kindness and determination helped create pitches for football and four other sports. The lad who was born close to Victoria Falls grew up in poverty. In 2012, French club AS Nancy Lorraine spotted him playing for Bantu Rovers – his life started to change. Later moves to Vitesse in the Netherlands and Club Brugge in Belgium made the 26-times Warrior a $12-million target for Aston Villa. In the past three seasons, Marvelous has done reasonably well for the Birmingham club in the defensive midfielder role, despite suffering a long-term knee injury in December. The construction will soon be underway.
