Ivorian boy came from Right To Dream Academy and made his dreams come true

Brighton lost their sporting director Dan Ashworth to Newcastle this year, but the club from the south coast of England continues to make wise moves in the transfer market. They announced the signing of 20-year-old Ivorian forward Simon Adingra from Danish top-flight club FC Nordsjaelland for a fee of around $7.5 million.Graduate of the Right To Dream Academy in Accra, the boy caught the eye of the Danish club and joined them two years ago as his dreams of playing football in Europe started to look real. Adingra made 38 appearances for the Nordsjaelland first-team in the league, scoring 11 goals, including one on his debut from the bench.Nordsjaelland’s sports director Mikkel Hemmersam said that it was impossible to keep the youngster when interest from England emerged.”Simon has been a star for us the last season, and we will miss him both on the pitch and in the locker room. Now the others must step up and show that they are as ready as we believe they are.”Simon adingra brighton’ın listesindeymiş yine geleceğe dönük hamle 4 5 sezon sonra şampiyon olacağız herhalde pic.twitter.com/nTZuX7Pg5d— Kamil Jóźwiak (@illegalfirmino) June 23, 2022 Speaking to the club’s website, Brighton’s technical director David Weir revealed that they’ve been tracking Adingra for some time.”Simon is an exciting young player who has had a terrific start to his career in Denmark. He’s a creative offensive player who can play on both sides and is very good in one-on-one situations. He’s a talented young player who we’ve had an eye on for a while, and we’re looking forward to helping him with his development.”Adingra is Albion’s second signing in this window, with a $12.2 million deal to sign Paraguayan forward Julio Enciso already confirmed.
