The preparations at Carrington training ground for the pre-season have begun. Manchester United staff are slowly coming together causing the sports public to ask many questions. One of them being – what to do with the Red Devils who are returning from loans?The most resounding names are Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek, once projected to be the energy that will bring Manchester United back at the top of English football. Both the Dutchman and the Frenchman fell out of favour in previous regimes at Old Trafford, failing to impress Ole Gunnar Solskjaer nor his successor, Ralf Rangnick, but they will be hoping to revive their Manchester United careers.Martial’s enthusiastic grin may have hidden some nerves on his return to Carrington after his loan spell at Sevilla. At Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, he made 12 appearances, scoring once, and the Spanish club decided against making the move permanent. If allowed to by not being sold, of course. Brandon Williams, who spent last season at Norwich City, where he established himself and made 29 appearances, was also back in the building, although United are believed to be open to offers for the 21-year-old full back. Those who weren’t away and had either great performances or no performances at all, welcomed their shortly-away teammates.
