Two days after clinching the AFC Leopards Treasurer position in the club’s elections on Sunday, Oliver Napali Imbezi has penned a letter promising to make the club great once again.Napali, who is the former treasurer returned to the docket unopposed after the incumbent and his only challenger for the position Maurice Chichi was barred from vying after failing to meet some of the requirements as per the club’s constitution.Shikanda reelected AFC Leopards chairman after trouncing NamaiOf immediate concern for Napali will be securing sponsorship for the club after their previous shirt sponsor pulled out but have a pledge rumored to be in the region of Ksh60M from a betting company.The club has also suffered financial challenges last season with the players downing their tools on a number of occasions owing to delayed salaries.In his letter after winning the elections, Napali was thankful to the whole Ingwe fraternity as he promised to take back the club to the heights it enjoyed in yesteryears.Greetings Ingwe Family,##NAJAVA_MECA_6477795##I want to take this opportunity to thank AFC Leopards SC members for entrusting me with the honor of serving as your Treasurer.To my family, campaign team, friends, supporters and AFC Leopards SC members thank you for your patience, prayers, and belief in my candidature.When we started this journey, among Financial sustainability and Stability, the other superordinate goal which is predominant among the members of AFC Leopards SC is making Ingwe great again.
