NSL: Bomet plotting a strong final push

APS Bomet FC head coach Charles Odero is keen on leading his side over the line with promotion to the FKF Premier League now looking like an achievable dream for the Bomet based National Super League (NSL) side.Bomet lead the log with 66 points, six more than second placed Fortune Sacco who are equally chasing promotion to the top tier. At least four wins in their remaining six games will secure topflight football for the side and the law enforcers will be keen on achieving the dream in July.##NAJAVA_MECA_6477815##Odera says the target is to get the job done like FC Talanta did last season by topping the third tier. He however admits that second tier is very competitive and hopes that his troops will remain focused until they achieve their top-flight dream.“Our objective is to make it possible for us to have a comfortable end to the season just like FC Talanta did last season. At the same time, we understand that the league is very competitive but our approach will help us stay focused and I expect our performances to maintain,” he told Citizen. He says all the remaining matches are finals for them and they will approach them with the seriousness it deserves. Despite the matches coming up thick and fast, he is confident of a good finish.“We have played every one of our matches as a final because we understand how much they mean to our title prospects. I laud my players because recently they have been very consistent despite the jam-packed fixtures and I’m confident they still have the fire in their belly to finish the season strongly,” he added.Bomet’s remaining matches will be against Shabana FC, SS Assad, Mara Sugar, Muhoroni Youth and Murang’a Seal.
