Romelu Lukaku got what he wanted – he is back at Giuseppe Meazza after an underwhelming season at Stamford Bridge. Reasons are many for his below-par performances at Chelsea, some of them being not seeing eye-to-eye with Blues manager Thomas Tuchel or not leaving things on a good foot with the Nerrazuri fanbase.It was obvious Big Rom is out of place after leaving Milano but it wasn’t just the surrounding circumstances that made it hard for him. His timing was poor and the delivery of it looked as if the player himself is not sure if he did the right thing by joining the Stamford Bridge club.
