Elvis Noor targeting more game time with City Stars next season

Nairobi City Stars midfielder Elvis Noor is working towards realising more playtime next season after making just 14 appearances in the just concluded FKF Premier League campaign.The midfield enforcer made just seven starts all season and made a number of appearances off the bench. He was an unused substitute in six matches as Simba wa Nairobi managed a sixth-place finish in the league.##NAJAVA_MECA_6482893##The player admits the number of appearances that he made were not good enough and wants to be utilised more by coach Nicholas Muyoti something that he intends to achieve through hard work.“As an individual I am will work towards earning more games next season hoping that I can achieve more with the team,” he told the club’s official website.Reflecting on the whole campaign the player said he was largely satisfied although he admits that the final five matches against Tusker, KCB, Gor Mahia AFC Leopards and FC Talanta were tough.”It’s been a good season, I can’t complain though the last five matches were tough on us. It took lots of character to maneuver through those final games. On a personal level I am glad that I featured in most of them,” he added.City Stars were in the title mix last season for the better part of the campaign but a dip in form towards the end saw them drop out of the title race and ended finishing the season in sixth position.
