Tusker FC defender wants out

Tusker FC’s Tanzanian defender Kalos Protus Kirenge has informed the club that he intends to leave the club this window with a number of Tanzanian Premier League clubs after his services.Kirenge was among the new players that were signed by Tusker before the start of last season when the Brewers did mass signings in preparation for the 2021/22 CAF Champions League and FKF Premier League campaign. A source from the club has disclosed to Mozzart Sport that the player, who is yet to return for pre-season wants out and has informed the club in writing that he wants to terminate the one-year deal left with the club. The lanky central defender who missed just two games last year will be out of contract in September and he disclosed that he has offers from a host of local and foreign clubs. Another player linked with a move away from Tusker is goalkeeper and assistant captain Patrick Matasi who kept 18 clean sheets last season. Kenya Police FC and Azam of Tanzania are interested in his services.
