He will be part of the Soldiers’ squad from the 2022/23 FKF Premier League campaign that starts at the end of August.Akhulia has now confirmed that the player has left the Thika-based club although he admits that he would have wished to retain the player in his team.”He informed us that he is leaving because he has a good offer from Ulinzi Stars. He has been a key player for us and definitely, I would have wished to retain him. At this point we just wish him well, he served us diligently, and may he succeed at his new work station, ” he stated. In an earlier interview, the tactician had announced that he would be beefing up the squad in all departments after narrowly avoiding relegation during the 2021/22 season.🌟| Jacob Onyango helped Bidco United salvage a point against Ulinzi Stars#BidcoVsUlinzi#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/1tA5Tntccv— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) August 7, 2021 “We will need to beef up all the departments in the team all the way from the goalkeeping to attack. We need a keeper, we have to beef up the central defence department, we need fullbacks this is because we did not defend well last season, we let in very easy goals. We need midfielders, right and left-wingers, and a number 9, we did not score enough goals last season so it is strengthening the entire team in preparation for next season,” the former Bidco United midfielder told Mozzart Sport.
