Johanna Omolo compensated by Turkish club after unceremonious exit

Kenyan international Johanna Omolo has been compensated by his former club Kocaelispor after parting ways in May.According to a Turkish online publication, Kocaeli Gazetesi, the club paid the player around Ksh 4.8m last week together with Cameroonian Georges Mandjeck who also left the club.Following the club’s relegation to the third tier, the duo were some of the players allowed to leave with the club unable to field any foreigners in the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) third-tier league.”A mutual payment commitment was made with Kenyan Johanna Omolo and Cameroonian Georges Mandjeck, who played in Kocaelispor last season. The green and black management made these payments and deposited approximately 40 thousand Euros into the accounts of the players.
