Gor Mahia unveil new Irish coach

Kenyan giants Gor Mahia have unveiled Jonathan McKinstry as their new coach ahead of the new season set to kick off towards the end of August.The Irish pens a two-year deal to replace German tactician Andreas Spier who left the record Kenyan champions upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June.In a social media post on their official handles, Gor Mahia confirmed the appointment of the 37-year-old head coach.”We are pleased to announce Jonathan McKinstry as our new head coach,” the club wrote.Jonathan Bryan McKinstry is now the new head coach of Gor Mahia. 🚨🇰🇪He formerly managed Uganda and Rwanda.#AfricanFootball #GorMahia pic.twitter.com/Potvg56tWY— Micky Jnr ✪ (@MickyJnr__) July 27, 2022 McKinstry has previously handled Uganda, Rwanda, and Sierra Leon at the national level, and Saif SC from Bangladesh and Lithuanian side Kauno Zalgiris at club level.
