They then thrashed Abou Hamad 6-0 in their second encounter before tasting a 2-0 defeat against Haras El Hodoud.In the new campaign, Simba will be hoping to reestablish their dominance in the Ligi Kuu Bara after fierce rivals Yanga clinched the 2021/2022 league title to end their four-year domination in Tanzania.The Mo Dewji backed side will also be hoping to make a mark in the CAF Champions League continental competition when the qualifiers start in September.
