Tusker FC marauding right back Daniel Sakari has exuded confidence in his team’s ability to continue with their dominance in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League following their title success in the last two seasons on the land.The Robert Matano coached side became the first side to end Gor Mahia’s four year dominance in the league when they clinched the 2020/2021 season ahead of Zedekiah Otieno’s KCB. The Brewers then backed up that performance by successfully defending their title in the 2021/2022 season where Sakari lifted his first ever top flight title after joining the team at the start of the campaign from Kariobangi Sharks.With the team seeking to complete a historic three peat, Sakari believes the team has what it takes to challenge and stay ahead of the chasing pack when the season kicks off on 27 August as scheduled by the FKF Transition Committee.“Our target is just to retain the league in the upcoming season. We know the squad we have and what we are trying to build over here with reinforcements. The coach is also very keen on retaining his title knowing that we are the team to beat.
