Former FC Talanta duo of Vincent Otieno and Ziyadi Kiwanuka are among the six players Football Kenya Federation Premier League debutants Fortune Sacco are hoping to sign before the transfer window closing.Since gaining promotion to the Premier League, Fortune are yet to make new signings but according to the club’s head coach Nicodemus Omasete, six will be integrated in the squad ahead of their debut at the top level.##NAJAVA_MECA_6564038##Fortune gained automatic promotion to the top tier by virtue of finishing second in the Super League. They were elevated alongside APS Bomet who bossed the competition.Omasete disclosed that the two players who left the club last year for Talanta were in his plans and it is just a matter of time before they put pen on paper and seal the reunion.Both Otieno and Kiwanuka left Fortune last year for Talanta but the latter crossed to Kariobangi Sharks in January only to be released six months later.Apart from the two, the club is said to be hunting for a Sofapaka midfielder as well as from Division Two side Rware City FC.”We do not want to make wholesome changes in the team considering that the league start is just three weeks away. We have identified around six players who bear top flight experience and whom we believe will add quality to the team. We are just waiting for the management to approve them and they’ll formally join us, ” he said.Talanta midfielder Otieno resumes training after more than a month outMeanwhile, Omasete revealed that the club will not drop players who fought for promotion to the top tier.Instead, the club will loan out the upcoming players to second tier clubs to gain more playing time and experience.
