FC Talanta set to conduct trials this week

Football Kenya Federation Premier League side FC Talanta are set to conduct trials starting Tuesday at the Public Service Club grounds, Upper Hill.The week-long trials according to the club head coach Kenneth Kenyatta will afford him and the rest of the technical bench members the opportunity to spot new players who fill in the gaps left by those who have landed greener pastures elsewhere.##NAJAVA_MECA_6563994##The club has lost a sizeable number of players who were outstanding in the debut season to deep-pocketed rivals who have capitalized on the dire financial challenge reported at the club to headhunt the best.Talanta are currently without a shirt sponsor after their deal with the Communications Authority of Kenya expired two months ago while the other one terminated the deal under unclear circumstances.Kenyatta commends Talanta for adapting to the Premier League rigours seamlesslyMozzart Sport however understands that the deal between the club and the communications regulator is likely to be renewed after the general elections dust settles.Some of the players who have quit the club include last season’s top scorer’s Francis Kahiro who had joined KCB, Vincent Otieno and the duo of Thomas Wainaina and Michael Bodo who were acquired by Bidco United.Enock Momanyi, who made himself a name after earning Harambee Stars call up last year at a time when the club was in the second tier has also decamped to Bandari.”We will be conducting week-long trials at the Service Club from Tuesday.
