The previous extension (of the term of the FKF Transition Committee) by the CS was for the purpose of successful completion of the leagues. What will they now be doing? We will not allow the Transition Committee to continue being in office. If it means challenging it in court, we will do that. We will also ask our members to boycott any league that the Transition Committee plans to organise,” he said as quoted on Nation.Daggers drawn as two bodies fight over control of Kenyan footballThe Macharia-led Management Committee was formed in June during a Special General Meeting at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani and had claimed in July that they were ready with fixtures for the upcoming season. He offered that the Management Committee’s main priority is to get the FIFA suspension sorted, pointing out that clubs are suffering as they cannot get proper sponsorship with the current stalemate.“We want it (FIFA suspension) sorted. Players are suffering because clubs are not able to get sponsorship without a proper league,” he added.
