Kenya spectate as CAF set U23 AFCON draw for Thursday in Morocco

The draw for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers set for Morocco in 2023 will take place on Thursday, August, 18, 2022 at 2 PM EAT and will be live across all CAF digital platforms, the continental body has confirmed.39 countries are set to take part from the qualifying stage, with Morocco already having qualified as hosts while the other 38 countries will square it out for the final slots in the qualifiers for the tournament that will serve as the qualifying tournament for the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024.The first round qualification matches will be played in a two-legged format between September 19 and September 27 this year, with the second round taking place between October 21 and October 30 for the two legs.The draw for the qualifiers of the TotalEnergies U23 AFCON,Morocco 2023 will take place on August 18,2022 at 11:00 GMT.
