Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula has revealed that coach Nicholas Muyoti is a strong candidate for the vacant head coach job at the club.Muyoti left Homeboyz in September last year for Nairobi City Stars who offered him a three-year deal but according to Shimanyula, the youthful tactician is among the four local tacticians his office is perusing through their profiles.Homeboyz have been without a substantive head coach from early last month following the unceremonious firing of the entire technical bench after the club narrowly missed the league title last season.Friday training pic.twitter.com/ve9MGPy6zk— Kakamega Homeboyz FC (@FcHomeboyz) August 5, 2022 Shimanyula revealed the club was hoping to close the process of reviewing the applications and negotiations and possibly make the appointment before the end of the week.The club administrator said they are looking for a teetotaler who would handle both young and experienced players as well as help the club win titles next season.”Muyoti is a coach we have worked with before and I wouldn’t mind having him back. We have around four other coaches who have expressed interest in the job.
