Recuperating AFC Leopards defender eyes return to active football in January

Injured AFC Leopards centre back Kayci Odhiambo is hoping for a resounding return to action in January after going under the knife last month.Odhiambo has been out of action from April after suffering a knee injury while in action against Wazito but he is confident of getting clearance either in December or early next year.The promising defender who was punching above his weight in his maiden season in the top flight before the worst struck belatedly underwent surgery last month setting the path to recovery.Kayci Odhiambo: From humble beginnings in Makadara to impressing at IngweHe said he was walking by himself and was looking forward to starting the rehabilitation process and later joining the team in full training and subsequently fighting for playing time.”I am progressing on well from the time I was operated on.
