- Usyk regales press conference with Ukrainian song of resistance
Anthony Joshua said he enjoyed the pressure surrounding his much-anticipated rematch against Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday and intended to “get the job done”, while his Ukrainian opponent stole the spotlight at their media conference by bursting into song.
Joshua was well beaten by Usyk in London last September and the Londoner was reserved in front of the the media before their rematch in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. “That’s it, must win. I like the pressure,” Joshua said. “I want to compete. I’m looking forward to it. I can’t really say much else. You’ve got to have a competitive spirit.”
