Check the yardage book: Wilmington Country Club’s South Course for the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship

Wilmington Country Club’s South Course in Delaware – site of this week’s BMW Championship as part of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs – was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1959. Keith Foster renovated the course in 2008, and Andrew Green did more renovation work  in 2021 after a tornado damaged much of the property.

The South Course will play to 7,534 yards with a par of 71 for the BMW Championship. The layout ranks No. 2 on Golfweek’s Best list of private courses in Delaware.
