Former Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi has criticized the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Transition Committee for failing to solve the FIFA suspension.The government back in November disbanded FKF and installed an FKF Caretaker Committee which was then replaced by a Caretaker Committee.Asike set to return for IF Karlstad after a spell out injuredWorld football governing body FIFA responded by suspending the country for government interference in football, locking Kenya out of international action.Kimanzi was unimpressed with the Transition Committee taking time to solve the FIFA stalemate despite having competent persons at the helm.“The government formed the Committee and gave it the mandate to run football in the country but there are some powers which the Committee doesn’t have and they have taken a long time to find a solution yet they have a lot of professionals who are able to solve the situation. ##NAJAVA_MECA_6573797##We have really complained about the Committee out here because we have not gotten the quick impact we had hoped for to move forward,” said Kimanzi in an interview with NTV.FIFA noted that unless the previous FKF regime is reinstated the suspension will still be in place but the Transition Committee’s mandate was extended for a further two months in a gazette notice dated Monday 15th August.Kimanzi noted that the uncertainty in football makes it hard for him to ponder his next move after being shown the door by Wazito FC back in January.Ayunga sets goal target in Scottish Premier League“It’s hard to predict my future, right now the most important thing is having football next season, once we know if next season will be played then it is easier for me to say that I’ll look for a club.The beauty of football is to train and be competitive on the field and it has to be a competition that has sponsors and I’m also guaranteed of representing my country after winning the league,” added Kimanzi.
