National Super League (NSL) side Migori Youth have lost up to five players to FKF Premier League (FKFPL) clubs and could lose more before the close of the current transfer window.Attacking midfielder Ben Stanley and winger Lucky Musyoka have both joined 2009 champions Sofapaka FC, with striker Clinton Okoth joining four-time champions Ulinzi Stars.Amid the mass exits at Nairobi City Stars and Kariobangi Sharks, the two clubs have also turned to Migori Youth, with defensive midfielder Clifford Ouma joining Simba wa Nairobi as Tyson Omondi, a central defender, joins the ranks of the William Muluya-coached Sharks.Migori Youth to withdraw from the NSL if FKF Transition Committee will be in chargeHowever, the club’s Chairman Abdi Aziz Osman is not perturbed by the exit of the players, saying that it is a blessing in disguise for more young players from their youth set up.”Our primary objective is to nurture talents and we are very happy when they get chances in top-tier teams. We have a functional youth team and their exit is a blessing for other young players to step up and show their worth,” he told Mozzart Sport.Migori Youth finished 10th in the concluded NSL campaign with 46 points collected across the 10 wins and 12 draws that the team registered, losing 14 matches in the process.Wazito withdraw from the FKF Premier LeagueHowever, their participation in the upcoming NSL campaign is in limbo as they are contemplating giving the second-tier competition a wide berth next season if the league will be under the Football Kenya Federation Transition Committee (FKFTC).
