Former Mathare United head coach John Kamau who was once again appointed Posta Rangers boss for the third time in his career has already shifted his focus to the key area his new team needs to improve on ahead of the upcoming 2022/2023 Football Kenya Federation Premier League.Kamau, who signed a reported one year contract at the mail men took over from the fired Salim Ali who was shown the door before the conclusion of the 2021/2022 season leaving assistant Collins ‘Korea’ Omondi as the interim head coach.Posta Rangers turn to Kamau’s expertise ahead of the start of the new seasonUpon returning to the club he managed in the 2015 and 2018/2019 seasons, the former Thika United boss, who also worked under former Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi at Wazito, pinpointed consistency as the major area he will be working on with the team.“We have to make sure we are competitive and to improve on last season. We have a good squad already which just needs improvements in some areas. His role were taken by George Maina who currently serves as Tusker assistant coach.He returned to the club in January 2019 to replace Samuel ‘Pamzo’ Omollo who was shown the door over a series of unwanted results. He would help the club evade relegation the hard way as Rangers were forced to beat the defunct Nairobi Stima in the promotion/relegation playoff.
