Bandari FC have been making strides off the pitch after unveiling their clubhouse to accommodate its players with head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani lauding the move.The clubhouse is located just meters off the club’s home ground, Mbaraki Sports Club and has the capacity to comfortably house 16 players.Bandari conclude transfer business with seven signings in towModo intimated that the clubhouse will be of benefit especially to players who do not hail from Mombasa as he praised the club for being a trailblazer in the project.“Our sponsors have made the wise decision to ensure our players from different parts of the country who do not have accommodation here in Mombasa get that in the club house.##NAJAVA_MECA_6588385##I haven’t seen that here in Kenya and this will really help the players from far away who usually struggle finding somewhere to rent here in Mombasa,” said Modo.The clubhouse comes with a number of amenities including a fully furnished kitchen and a number of support staff including a chef, masseur, physician and a psychologist.Bernard Odhiambo who is one of the longest serving players in the team also had high praise for the club as he noted it would foster camaraderie.Frank Odhiambo’s Djurgårdens seal Conference League group berth“Not many teams can sacrifice like the way Bandari have done, the clubhouse itself is very good, it has almost everything inside and it will bring a lot of team work because it’s like we are in camp everyday.It will really help us in the coming season, the players are prepared for the league and we have done proper pre-season and when the league starts we will be ready,” said Odhiambo.
