AFC Leopards head Coach Patrick Aussems has finally landed in the country and will now take charge of pre-season from Friday.The tactician has been away for over two months and initially, there were fears that he would leave the club after he was pictured with Kiyovu SC chairman a month ago and media reports in Rwanda indicated that he was set to join the club.##NAJAVA_MECA_6588422##The tactician later denied the reports and clarified that he was on holiday and that he would link up with Ingwe ahead of the new campaign that kicks off on 10th September.On Tuesday, he tweeted that he was on his way back to the Kenyan capital, ending Ingwe’s faithful fears that they were on the verge of losing a coach who has been credited for transforming the team’s style of play to an attractive one that has played a part in the fans flocking back to the stadium.“Nairobi , I am coming … I can’t wait to be on the field, to work with my players and to see you , #INGWE fans , supporting us,” he tweeted.On Thursday afternoon, the club posted pictures of the tactician being received by the newly elected office at the airport. The team, that’s currently under a FIFA suspension also managed to retain all their players bar John Makwata who moved to Botswana on Wednesday.Aussems’ charges begin the 2022/23 FKF Premier League campaign with an away match against Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on 10th September.
