Arsenal’s flop witnesses Nice’s dramatic win in Europe

Arsenal have agreed on a deal with Nice for Nicolas Pepe. Gunner’s biggest flop has moved back to his club Nice for a season-long loan, without an option to buy, after signing with the London club in 2019 for 80 million euros. The Ivorian winger arrived in Nice just in time to be introduced to the home crowd before the Conference League second leg match against Maccabi Tel Aviv. He saw a tough match, in which his new/old club qualified for the third tear European competition after a goal in the dying minutes of overtime.UECL. 25.08.2022FC Twente – Fiorentina.Fight the night before the game in Enschede. Fiorentina had the toughest job with a game against Dutch Twente, but thanks to a 2-1 win in the first leg, the Italians got through after a 0-0 draw. The duel between Twente and the team from Florence had an ugly prelude, due to a fight between the fans the day before the game, and the incidents from the streets of the Dutch city were transferred to the stands.Slowly but surely, West Ham’s new addition Gianluca Scamacca was the scorer again against Viborg, and the Hammers won 0-3 in Denmark and qualified with a total score of 6-1 in two games. The newly acquired Italian needed only 22 minutes to score the goal, but West Ham played without any pressure anyway, since they won 3-1 in London a week before. Last year’s Champions League finalist Villarreal had an easy two-game battle with Croatia’s Hajduk, as Unai Emery’s men won 4-2 in Spain and tonight they were better in Split too, and the game finished 2-0.##NAJAVA_MECA_6588009##MOL Fehervar made a sensation last week when they won 1-2 in Cologne, against a Bundesliga club, but the Hungarian club was totally helpless at home against the Germans, who easily won 3-0 and will play in the Conference League.
