Nairobi City Stars have thanked teenage midfield sensation Timothy ‘Babu’ Ouma for his contribution at the club during the time he spent there.The 18-year-old joined Nairobi City Stars in mid-2020 on an initial three-year contract but extended his stay for a further two seasons that would have seen him stay at the club until mid-2025.Babu joined Swedish top-tier side IF Elfsborg on a four and half year contract according to an announcement by the club on Wednesday.Following his exit, Nairobi City Stars CEO Patrick Korir heaped praises on the player, wishing him better tidings at his new work station.“Babu was a standout at Nairobi City Stars in the just-ended season and we thank him for his on-field returns that made him a great attraction, his commitment and dedication to the team.
