AFC Leopards goalkeeper Levis Opiyo has disclosed that he turned down a couple of teams to extend his stay at the den after the club committed to pay all the monies it owed him.Opiyo, who was out of contract signed a two-year deal with the club just over a week ago to end the uncertainty surrounding his future at the club. The team has been in talks with their current players over renewals and luckily only John Makwata has left the club for Gaborone of Botswana.In an interview, the widely traveled goalkeeper disclosed that he had offers both from within and outside the borders that he was contemplating taking but opted to commit to Leopards after they agreed to clear his salary arrears.“It is true I had some offers in the ongoing transfer window including one offer from an overseas club.
